Naruto Episode 142

Naruto Episode 142 was not bad. Although it’s another story filler, I didn’t mind because it’s connected to the Naruto plot and builds on the characters. Sakura is learning to be a medical ninja and Rock Lee is getting really cut. I can’t wait to see what new moves he has up his sleeves. Look at him; he’s not a scrawny ninja anymore.
For this filler, we got introduced to Fuujin and Raijin who is being controlled by Mizuki by food. Mizuki is the bad guy from the very first episode of Naurto. Cute but deadly perfectly describes Fuujin and Raijin.
The only problem I have with this filler is nothing made sense in the prison!! Fuujin and Raijin were able to freely break out and walk around while the guards did absolutely nothing! All the deadly prisoners were freed and they beat up Asuma and Kurenai to a pulp. Amazingly Asuma and Kurenai are still alive. The two were outnumbered by hundreds of criminals and murders but for some reason, the prisons spared Asuma and Kurenai’s lives.
