Josh Olson will adapt Monster for movie
Written by JohnJosh Olson has signed with New Line Cinema to adapt a best-selling Japanese manga series Monster created by Naoki Urasawa.
I watch the anime series Monster which is the anime version of the manga. It’s a psychological thriller and horror series with many plot twists. The story takes place after World War II in Europe. It’s about a young Japanese doctor who has everything going for him but his life takes a big turn after he saves a young boy’s life. It’s a very interesting anime because it has a very realistic style to it. You can download Monster here.
It seems that this Monster adaptation is similar to the Japanese remakes into American movies like The Ring, The Grudge, and Dark Water. Unfortunately, I’ve never seen any of Josh Olsen’s work. All the movies he has written for doesn’t seem to be good based on the reviews. Hopefully, Monster will turn out well.
