Anime Network Channel, the first channel to be dedicated entirely to Anime

The Anime Network part of A.D. Vision, INC. is the first company to launch a cable channel in North America, solely dedicated to anime. The Anime Network channel first launched in North America during the second half of 2002 but with only limited availability. Available only through digital cable, video on demand (VOD), where it has also become one of the most demanded offerings. The Anime Network channel became available more extensively in select U.S. markets beginning in July 2004. They have been continually extending its programming nationwide.
The Anime Network has recently joined with five cable providers to provide this unique channel via Subcription Video on Demand, or SVOD. The Anime network will now be available through SVOD on these five following cable providers, BendBroadband, Click! Network, Massillon Cable TV, PrairieWave Communications, and Sunflower Broadband.
Subscription Video on Demand, or SVOD, is a Video on Demand service offered at a flat (subscription) price that provides viewers with unlimited access to select programs from the libraries of featured cable networks.
